2017 CSA

Now accepting applications for our upcoming 2017 season!  Please take a look at the 4 different CSA programs we offer.  We take lots of love & care in all we grow & raise on our family farm.  All our products are non-GMO and all naturally raised.  We have 3 CSA programs available.

2017 Summer CSA starts June 18 – November 2 (includes our fresh picked produce, free range eggs, “CT’s Best” canned goods, & an option for our USDA all natural pork & chicken).  Click here – K&B 2017 Summer CSA Package1 for the application.

Exciting New Program – 2017 Credit Card CSA starts July 1-December 31, 2017.  You sign up for a 1/2 share for $350 and receive a Killam & Bassette Farmstead Credit Card worth $400 or you can sign up for a full share for $600 and receive a Killam & Bassette Farmstead Credit Card worth $675.  Both can be used at our farmstand (open 9:00-7:00, July 1 thru October 31 & honor system 9:00-6:00, November 1 thru June 30) or at any of the 22 farmers markets we attend and can be used on any of the products we sell (produce, canned goods, eggs, meats, etc).  Click here – K&B 2017 CSA Credit Card Program for the application.

2016 Fall/Winter CSA started November 6, 2016 – January 12, 2017 (includes our fresh picked winter produce (if any is still available), free range eggs, “CT’s Best” canned goods, & our USDA all natural pork & chicken).  Exciting news – New this year!!!  We are now offering a raw milk & goat cheese option for this CSA.  Check it out at – kb-2016-fall-winter-csa-package-with-milk-and-goat-cheese-option.

The details below help to describe our summer CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program

How our program works…

You purchase a seasonal share in our farm (full or half) and we pick the freshest, highest quality produce, free range eggs, make delicious canned good, & raise all natural, USDA pork & chicken for you and your family on a weekly basis. All of our non-GMO products are fresh picked for you that day (canned items are made that week, pork & chicken are raised all naturally with lots of love & care, and eggs are pulled from the coop that day).  We use Integrated Pest Management (IPM), low spray or no spray whenever possible.  We will include 1 dozen of our free range eggs and 1 jar of our canned goods per month.  For the pork & chicken, you will be given the option to ask for a $10.00 gift certificate that can be used to purchase our all natural, USDA pork or chicken at our farmstand (so you can pick exactly what cut of meat you’d prefer) or, you don’t have to choose this option & continue with your regular weekly selection of produce.  If you choose the pork/chicken option, $10.00 worth of product will be removed from your bag that week.  All items included in the bags will be a sampling of what we’re harvesting that day!

Your choice of a pick-up day will be Sunday thru Thursday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm in the “Big Red Barn” behind our farm stand at 14 Tryon Street (there will be signs directing you to the cooler).  Bags will be located in the walk-in cooler (left side of barn) on tables immediately on the left as you enter the cooler, in alphabetical order and will have your last name on them.  We are only offering 30 CSA memberships/day, so please submit your application quickly to ensure you are a part of this exciting offer as spots are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
